Vanilla is a soft, creamy neutral colourway that suits a range of interior styles — warmer and gentler than a stark white, without the boldness of a true tan. Tanned from Australian Merino sheepskin, this rug is thick, soft, and plush, perfect to snuggle on and complement any home decor.

Vanilla offers a genuinely distinct option from our other popular neutrals like Ivory and Linen — slightly warmer in tone, with a creaminess that pairs particularly well with timber furniture and warmer colour palettes.
The Depth That Comes From Long Wool
The long wool pile gives this rug real depth underfoot, a direct result of using longer-fibre, higher-grade hides rather than a shorter, denser fleece — part of why customers consistently rate the texture as feeling more luxurious than the photos alone convey.
A Note on Sizing
The size of this rug is approximately 105cm length x 65cm width. We're conservative with our sizing, and the actual rug may be slightly larger — we measure from the pelt (leather) side only, not including the wool fibres that extend out, which would add at least a further 10cm to every dimension.

Cold wash using a dedicated Woolskin Shampoo, dry in the shade, or professional dry-clean. As these are 100% natural products, colour may vary slightly between rugs and what's shown on a screen. If ordering two or more of the same colour, we recommend ordering together in one order — our team will do their best to match tone across the batch. We also recommend keeping the rug out of direct sunlight, or moving it periodically, since strong UV exposure can cause colour dyed sheepskin to change over time. Hi Jo-Ann, we're sorry to hear the rug didn't meet your expectations. From the photo it looks like you have washed the sheepskin rug. A tip is to stretch the sheepskin hide out to shape while the leather is still wet as it is very pliable, this way as the hide dries, it will maintain shape.

I absolutely love my sheep skin. I bought two and put them both by each bedside. They are the last thing I step on before bed, and the first thing I feel when I put my feet on the ground in the morning. So soft and fluffy. Beautiful colour...I just want to lay on it all day!! No smell, no mess, arrived in perfect condition. Perfectly made...10/10. I've never had the money to buy a real sheep skin rug but when I saw the price...and felt the cold winter setting in...(plus a tax return)..I splurged and got two for beside the bed...they are so lovely, I almost don't want to step on it. Well done, highly recommend.
