Hi Carmen, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the rug didn't meet your expectations in size and fleece density. These are A-grade doubleface sheepskin that are used in manufacturing of ugg boots and other sheepskin products. The wool length is clipped to 18mm. I think you may be referring to the sides of the hide where the legs of the sheep would be - there is indeed minimal wool there which is normal as we do not trim the sides off as they are often used by people when making products. You can trim around this area yourself with a knife if you prefer. Hope that clarifies your concern.
Lovely product and comfortable but for a shoe that is supposed to support balance they didn’t really hit the mark. There is no support around the ankles and felt very loose for my dad to walk in. I suppose if the wearer had very swollen ankles then they would be beneficial but my dad’s feet were not supported. Will be returning and choosing another pair.
