Care instructions: Through our advanced and eco-friendly tanning processing, our rugs can be hand-washed, or placed in a top-loader washing machine using the Wool mode (Slow speed). Please only use a cleaning solution for Sheepskin which cleans the wool and protects the leather underneath, this is different to the Wool wash mix which is for woollen fibre products such as knitted jumpers.
I wanted something soft to put on our leather lounge. Tried 2 long haired fleeces to begin with, but they tended to matt up after much sitting. Excellent advice from Yellow Earth to comb the fleeces (I used carding combs), which I then repurposed. The curly wool fleeces are smaller, but much more suitable for the purpose. Staff were extremely helpful in facilitating the changeover. These fleeces would also make excellent car seat covers.
