This is the third sheepskins I’ve ordered. One for my recliner, one for my bed and a spare. The medical sheepskins are great, lve had back surgery and hip replacement the sheepskin has helped a lot with pain and comfort. Yellow earth is Australian company, very easy to order, quick delivery. I would recommend yellow earth .

Towards the end of last year, after a lengthy 7-week stint in hospital recovering from sepsis, I purchased the Medical Sheepskin Underlay for my bed and the Pressure Reliever Mat for my recliner (as well as the Woolwash), as the condition of my skin and my overall health was poor. I felt so much relief and comfort from these that after another 3-week stint in hospital recovering from HMPV (I do have a terminal illness), I decided to purchase the Medical Sheepskin Rug Natural Shape. I have placed the Underlay and the Rug end to end so I am now enjoying the relief they both give over the whole length of the bed, so no more sore heals or elbows, or dragging skin. The benefits are so great and provide total comfort and softness. I slept directly on the underlay over summer and did not once feel hot or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend the Natural Shape Sheepskin to anyone, for not only the comfort they provide but for the improved sleep quality. My lovely little dog Molly also agrees.....

I purchased this as I sit for extensive hours for my work and was developing sores. I was not convinced at first as the wool did not feel soft, but after sitting on it for long hours the difference was clear. The temperature regulating aspects and pressure relief has had a significant impact. I have been so attached to my mat, rolling it up to bring it to work, then using it in the car, and when I work from home I bring it home. My partner joked that I should make a pair of undies with this mat to save me from carrying it everywhere! I am saving up to get more and one of the underlays for bed.
I was worried at first what colour this mat would be and was relieved it was a lovely dark forest green rather than a lighter green. Shipping was extremely fast. Thanks so much Yellowearth!

We have a Koala Shelter - ‘Koalas of Raymond Island’ that rescues and rehabilitates sick and injured koala and raises orphaned koala joeys. Our shelter Carers have struggled with the issue of pressure sores with koalas in care that are unable to move around, we have tried lots of options including foam padding & padded pillows, but with the need to be able to change and clean them, these were very difficult. We ordered two of these mats are are really pleased with the quality, we are going to order a few more.
I think these would benefit a lot of people as I have cared for 2 parents with Cancer and have had 3 back surgeries.

The sheepskin is so warm and soothing and naturally comforting. I am a senior person and autistic whom is also physically impaired. I suffer from a hyper sensory processing disorder. The sheepskin does not affect my olfactory function, it did not contain any smells be it chemical or fragrance. It is so very soothing soft and warm as a tactile sensory aid and helps my aching body. Also because it is the natural shape, the size makes it very mobile. I can swap it from my bed and onto my chair. If I did not suffer from olfactory sensory condition, I would use it for support outside my home, on wheelchair in vehicles appointments or outings because it is so portable. Though I do not want to expose nor cross contaminate it with any odours, perfumes or chemicals from deodorised vehicles and environments. So I shall keep it safely in my own environment. It makes me feel very secure and cozy. I am very fortunate I was able to purchase one. Thank you also to the staff for handling the sheepskin and packaging it fragrance free. This has been problematic when I receive orders from many companies who claim products are nonallergenic or fragrance free, which are then handled by staff wearing perfumed and fragranced products on their hands or person. Then I then have to off gas for several days or more outside before I can bring it into my home anyway which makes the whole experience stressful. I did not have to do this with my Yellow Earth order. This made my experience even more positive from Yellow Earth. Thank you.

I received my medical sheepskin rug just over a week ago. Since then I’ve used it to sit on & also lay on in bed. I have a pressure sore & using the rug is so much more comfortable to sit.

well l don’t thikits doing anything for me , just a sheepskin

As a long time para who now requires permanent protection for my feet while in bed, my journey to identify the best sheepskin began two years ago. After 2 very ordinary results from other products I came across the Yellow Earth 60 x 90 one. The density of the wool is perfect and the size is exactly right. As far as positioning, it's not too bulky, doesn't need to be tucked in/around the mattress (like some) and it doesn't slip around or move even if your feet are a bit restless. I'm very happy with it.
Furthermore, the price is good and service from and communication with Yellow Earth has been great.
