Laundry Instructions
Best results are obtained by using the recommended dosage. Always refer to care labels in garments.
How to measure concentrate wool wash
1 Remove cap from measure chamber only
2 Gently squeeze bottle until contents reach the desired level
3 Pour into wash and re-cap measure chamber
Machine Wash
Top Load: Measure 20mls for small load and 40mls for large load into the washing machine.
Front Load: use half the quantity. Select wool or gentle cycle and load size. Double rinse.
Sheepskin rugs & woollen garments – use cold water.
For Yellow Earth’s Green Medical sheepskin range only, hot water can be used.
Machine wash on wool wash or gentle cycle:
Gentle spin ensuring the load is balanced. Allow to slowly dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight or on LOW in a tumble dryer.
For larger items like double sheepskins or blankets, best results are achieved by hand-washing in a tub.
Hand Wash
Measure 20ml for each 10 lt of water into wash tub. Use COLD or WARM water.
Place sheepskin or wool garment into the diluted solution and gently squeeze hand washing for approximately 5 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with COLD or WARM water until water is clear. DO NOT STRETCH.
Squeeze out excess water and allow to drain, (you can spin out excess water on a SLOW spin cycle on your washing machine) – DO NOT WRING DRY, allow to dry flat and away from direct heat and sunlight or on LOW in a tumble dryer.

50 years back I bought sheep skin seat covers for my Pulsar Q then they modified the seat part for me for me when I got my Nissan Skyline I now have a Magna wagon & the same seat covers that are now about 43 years old & still going strong last month I threw out a pair of sheep skin short boots that I bought at the same time & I am going down to buy some more as they lasted for a very long time I myself swear by sheep skin & the quality that is made by both these companies as they were joined together I recently bought 2 sheep skin medical cushions one for me & one for a friend they are great & very comfortable totally recommend the companies great products

I purchased a wool rug plus the recommended wool wash.I washed it as per instructions:cold wash and wool cycle with the wool wash.And flat dried in the shade.The rug has lost all its softness.It feels like very dry wiry hair.Yellow Earth refuses to offer me a replacement or a refund.I suspect it should only be dry cleaned.
My sheep skin has come up so soft after washing with Yellow Earth Wool Wash!
If spending a night or longer in hospital%2C or having to sit in a chair%2C be in bed for any amount of time the medical sheepskin is a must have%21%21 Soft and added comfort especially on those hospital beds which are so not comfortable plus not breathable. This product is a must have for everyone. The medical sheepskin is washable and comes up beautifully each wash. This is a quality product. Many years ago when I was told about the positive attributes of having a sheepskin when in hospital I immediately brought one. Many years later I still vow by them. I’m glad if I can this advice to others. And this particular product was of really good quality. Thank you. It made 3 nights in hospital a bit more comfortable.
