100% Australian Natural Sheepskin – Home Health Medical Rug
Our Home Health Medical Sheepskin Rug is designed to relieve pressure points and support comfort for daily use and longer periods of sitting or resting. The generous 100–105cm length provides coverage for the shoulder and hip areas. We carefully select Australian Merino sheepskins with extra-dense wool to deliver pressure relief and cushioned support for those concerned about pressure sore / bedsore (pressure ulcer) prevention.
Made from genuine Australian natural sheepskin, the thick 35mm wool pile gently cradles the body and spreads pressure more evenly. Wool’s natural properties also help with temperature regulation—warm in winter and cool in summer—while the breathable fibres promote airflow to reduce moisture build-up and keep the skin environment comfortable. The rug is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Easy care
To help your rug last, hand wash is preferred in cold water with an approved wool wash. Machine wash only if necessary—use a cold wool cycle and gentle wool detergent. Care Instructions (Quick Guide)
- Hand wash preferred in cold water with approved wool shampoo. We highly recommend our specially formulated shampoo to increase the longevity of your sheepskin. Click here to view it.

- While still wet, stretch the hide to shape and lay flat to dry in shade

Excellent product at a great price. I use it on my bed and it helps to relieve pressure and gives me a more restful sleep.
I still have not received my parcel. CCCTV has bern checked as requested by sendle . They said it was delivered in the afternoon but that is not true. Only one very small item was delivered about that time. The manager also checked late at night when someone from Sendle signed for it. No delivery . Could you please arrange for another sheepskin or a refund. I am actually in a lot of pain and need it. Sendle requested a copy of CCTV but management does not really want to do that. I can keep asking but they have been very helpful and they are busy.

I bought the medical sheepskin rug for my husband's recliner. We'd been looking for a sheepskin rug for a while, but couldn't find a suitable one until I came across the Yellow earth website. I ordered it online and we are very happy with our purchase. It's a great size and the wool is beautifully luxurious and just the right length.

This is an excellent product. It is very thick, luxurious and so comfortable. I love the generous size, making it very practical for prolonged bed rest. Before purchasing this we used a bassinet size sheepskin purchased 48 years ago! Time to upgrade. My husband had major surgery and sitting can be uncomfortable, but he finds sitting on this sheepskin really helps. I like that the ivory colour goes with any decor and it is large enough to drape across furniture, like a throw. Grandkids like to lay on it when they come to visit too. It is so versatile. Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt. Highly recommend.

The sheepskin rug has just arrived (11.30am) after it was ordered yesterday morning - excellent service! The packaging nicely presents the rug in its convenient'carry case' with see-through panels - very professional. Obviously, I have yet to try it out, but because my wife purchased one a couple of weeks ago and swears by it (she doesn't normally swear!) and strongly suggested I should have one too - hence this purchase. It is now 'breathing' ('airing') on our bed - it is larger than I had anticipated and I'm looking forward to christening it this evening.
Has relieved my aches and pain whilst resting in bed, nothing else suggested for this and so expensive has worked. This is a miracle to me. Thankyou so much. Prompt postage also.

I bought 3 rugs and they are absolutely beautiful, especially the medical rug which sleeps on my bed and goes to work at night keeping me cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold. I found it hard to believe these claims but it does actually work. I love snuggling up to it. This rug has improved my sleeping hours significantly.
My other two rugs are scattered on armchairs and lounge chairs in other parts of the house creating a more welcoming feel and they look just great. I am thoroughly impressed.
