This curly wool Australian Medical Sheepskin is a fully CSIRO certified product and registered with the Therapeutics Goods Australia (TGA) as a Medical Device for Pressure alleviation.
Made using carefully selected Australian Sheepskin, this product has an extremely dense curly wool pile that is 30mm thick. It is also Hi-Temp and Urine Resistant, making it suitable for incontinent users.
This Medical Sheepskin product can help prevent and treat pressure sores.
Hi-Temp refers to this product being able to be washed at up to 80 degrees Celsius to allow for thorough disinfection cleaning when required, without damaging the sheepskin. It can also be dried at up to 60 degrees Celsius. Hi-Temp cleaning is important to prevent the spread of infection
The dimensions are 60cm x 90cm which will generally cover pressure points from the shoulder to the lower hips.
The green colour is an Australian Medical standard and represents that this Medical Sheepskin is High-Temp and Urine Resistant. This product meets and exceeds the recognised standard (AS4480.1 1998).
Each product comes fully certified by the CSIRO and is stamped on the underneath side to authenticate this product. Our CSIRO registered Manufacturing ID number is 14 which can be found imprinted on all our certified Medical Sheepskin products.

I am crippled so spend a lot of my day sitting in a chair which inevitably becomes very uncomfortable. I use this medical sheep skin on the chair some behind my back and some on the seat to relieve the discomfort. It has made a big difference in my daily life. Thank you.
After 7 weeks in hospital, we gifted our mum the medical sheepskin to help alleviate the discomfort of skin rash & hip pain. It helped instantly! She loves it and will use it in her home bed too. We only wish we had thought of it earlier for her. Delivery and service was excellent.
Extremely disappointed as my order has been damaged and undelivered by the courier company Sendle. Further more the person I spoke with at Yellow Earth customer service, was most unhelpful prerry much saying its Sendles problem and Yellow Earth are unable to help! Very poor customer service. Now nothing to show for after spending $200+

As discussed over the phone, your parcel was successfully delivered and the product inside arrived undamaged. The tracking showed “damaged but on board for delivery” as it seems the courier had unfortunately damaged the outer satchel, though the item itself was unaffected.
At the time of our call, the parcel was out for delivery that day. I recommended waiting for it to arrive first, and mentioned that if there were any issues upon receipt, to take photos so we could assist further and lodge claims with the courier.
